Remodel Electrical
Electrical for kitchens, baths, basements, and whole-home remodels — for our own projects and for homeowners and builders who need an electrician who shows up when the framing is ready.
Remodel wiring is a different job than new construction
- Existing walls, unknown circuits, and wiring that was added to over the years by people who didn't label anything.
- New layouts need circuits the old plan never accounted for — islands, appliance loads, lighting, heated floors.
- The electrical has to land between demo and drywall, and a scheduling miss there stalls every other trade.
Wiring designed around the new layout, on the remodel's schedule
We handle the electrical side of remodels — for our own general contracting projects and for homeowners and builders who need an electrician who shows up when the framing is ready. Rough-in, lighting design, panel capacity, and trim-out.
What's included
- Walkthrough of the new layout before rough-in to plan circuits and switching
- Panel capacity review, with a subpanel or upgrade priced if needed
- New circuits for kitchens, baths, laundry, and dedicated equipment
- Recessed, pendant, under-cabinet, and accent lighting rough-in
- Switch, dimmer, and smart-control planning
- Removal or rerouting of abandoned and improvised wiring found in the walls
- Smoke and CO detector placement to current requirements
- Trim-out: devices, plates, fixtures, and testing
- Permit and inspection coordination at rough and final
Why Webb
- We run remodels ourselves, so we understand what the framer, drywaller, and cabinet installer need from us and when.
- Lighting is laid out with the finished room in mind rather than centered on a ceiling that's about to change.
- When we find something ugly behind the drywall, you get a photo and an explanation, not a silent add-on.
